Flourishes

This week we have been going through a whole heap of home movies from when my kiddies were toddlers. After a lot of laughing (mostly my Hubby and myself), I thought about all the pics I have of the kids that seem to be not that important but are really part of there life stories and precious moments.. So on finding this photo of my 2 eldest kids now 12 and 10 (1 and 3 in the pic) with their great Ninny, my Nan I thought it would be a perfect chance to do a special layout... My Nan has since past away and this is something very special that the kids and her shared..
I have entered this LO in Frosted Designs latest challenge to use flourishes.. go on over and check out all the amazing work over there...
Before I share the layout I just wanted to say that even photos that don't seem that important at the time can sometimes end up being very important, I love that fact that my Nans room is so much part of the pic as it really helps bring back all the wonderful memories..
Hope you Like, Happy Scrapping

  4. Hello, Tracy! I am one of the new designers who will be working with you at Joy's Life and I just wanted to drop by, introduce myself and have a quick look around your blog, as I have never visited here before. Your scrapbook pages are gorgeous and I'm quite jealous that you and Amanda apparently live close enough to each other that you actually get to scrap together! How wonderful that must be. Western Australia is a bit far from Texas, otherwise I'd be tempted to drive over and take a lesson or two from you two! LOL I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and to working with you on the team. Have a great weekend!
